2015

APRIL

STERELA is awarded the "SME Accelerator" program; a customized offer for SMEs to support their growth ambitions and allow them to become tomorrow's ETI (midsize business).
This is an individual assistance program carried by the state services allowing CEOs to attend training and receive mentoring and easier access to financing Bpifrance levers.
STERELA is the only company of Midi Pyrenees who has been elected.

2015

APRIL

Christophe Le Flohic is appointed as the new General Manager of the company

2014

MARCH

STERELA receives € 10 million in equity and senior debt from BPIfrance the Irdi, ixo Private Equity, Midi-Pyrénées Croissance and a bank pool.

FEBRUARY

STERELA acquires Noval company (28 employees) situated in Auterive (Haute-Garonne). Noval manufactures control systems for luxury boats (door controls, ladders), home automation (opening windows, air control, dimming), billboards, intelligent bus shelter and share-bike terminals.

2013

OCTOBRE

Under the cluster Mov'eo a set of SME groups in order to attack all the export markets. Neavia, Citilog, MultiToll, Nexyad, Survision and STERELA now form the ITS Infra group. With  a total of 300 employees, 55M € of turnover and € 20m of own funds the group is in line for access to international markets usually reserved for larger companies.

Sterela reorganizes itself, develops the export department and renews its image.

Bruno JOSSE is appointed as CEO of the company.

STERELA acquires SURVISION.

SEPTEMBER

STERELA wins, against the world leader, the tender procedure launched by Météo France and gets a new contract to build 900 new generation stations (PACOME STATIONS).

Robert BOUSQUET becomes President.

NOVEMBER

STERELA wins the regional competition Inn'Ovations 2008.

MAY

STERELA collects in Paris the SME price under the PREDIT 3 program (Program for Research and Innovation in Road Transport) for its SWING (Speed Weigh in Motion Gear), project for measuring the weight and speed in real time of road transport vehicles.

2007

JANUARY

STERELA becomes a founding member of the EMC (Business Club of Muret).

2005

DECEMBER

STERELA wins the contract for the design and supply of motor RC rail carriages with tilting targets used for testing anti-tank weapons (guns, missiles and rockets) on behalf of the Ministry of Defense.

JULY

STERELA joins AEROSPACE VALLEY, global competitiveness cluster for Aerospace, Space and Embedded Systems.

APRIL

STERELA obtains the SPM market, allowing the company to produce and market its dynamic weighing systems (WIM). Winning this contract will be a springboard for the company which is regarded today as a major global player in the dynamic weighing.


2004

SEPTEMBER

STERELA diversifies its activities in the field of meteorology by getting the market study and supply of automatic stations for the synoptic and aviation METEOFRANCE network.

STERELA obtains the ISO9001:2000 certification.

NOVEMBER

STERELA obtains the ISO9001:1994 certification.

1997

NOVEMBER

STERELA becomes a partner of the LLC ACEM1P with 7 SMEs which pool qualifying means calibrated to perform EMC testing in accordance with Directive 89/336/EEC.

1989

AUGUST

STERELA is designated by the Ministry of Defense for the design and realization of radio controlled targets holders for shooting light infantry weapons (equipment delivered to the French Army).

JUNE

STERELA becomes a Limited Company and appoints Jean-Paul DUMAS CEO.

JULY

The Staff of the Army communicates the implementation of STERELA's target equipment to fulfill their needs.

1983

SEPTEMBER

STERELA adheres to GIPI (Club Innovation for Industry), which includes SMEs focused on high technology and research laboratories in Toulouse. In the meantime, STERELA develops a new infantry targets holder for military training.

JULY

STERELA moves to his new premises in Pins-Justaret, 20 km from Toulouse. It ensures its sustainability by developing new products in road and military fields.

1980

MAY

STERELA is born from the meeting of two men: JEAN-PAUL DUMAS then an electronic engineer and GERARD GALOU a private pilot and an aviation enthusiast. In Toulouse, with a workforce of 14 people and a statutory capital controlled by six employees of the Company, the LLC started its operations by developing electronic suitcases for tests and simulations. The products were at the moment for airlines all around the world, mainly AIRBUS customers.
